Today the Party President, Hon. Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat, and Secretary General, Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi, were warmly received by a sea of supporters led by Hon. Acire Christopher Obema and Hon. Kaps Hassan Fungaroo.
Despite the police blocking our procession and chasing away our supporters, we addressed a a public rally at Kaunda Grounds.
In his address, the Party President paid tribute to the innocent lives lost during the Lord Resistance Army (LRA) insurgency and condemned the government’s land grabing scheme in Acholi where the land for the victims of the LRA war insugency’s land is being taken over forcefully by the Balaalo aided by the NRM regime.
He later officially launched the digital Membership registration in Acholi region, urging the people to embrace it.
The Secretary General expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Acholi for their unwavering support since the Party’s inception.
He praised their dedication to democracy and trust in the Party’s vision for a better Uganda.
We’ve consistently emphasized that our struggles are universal, affecting us all equally. United, we stand as One Uganda, One people, determined to break free from the shackles of NRM’s grip and build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come!
